For any business, the importance of Carbon Reduction has never been more pressing.
But how can you as a business leader influence this within your company, industry, local community, and the wider economy?
In part one of our series of six posts relating to the Power of Sustainable Business Transformation, we aim to shed light on how we currently work with our clients to help them reduce their carbon output.
Knowledge is power as the saying goes and to this end, we find many of our clients’ journeys begin with Carbon Literacy Training, accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project. By unlocking that power and putting foundations in place for their personal and professional lives, they demonstrate to their stakeholders their commitment to a more sustainable future.
At the heart of our effort to reduce our carbon footprint are the identification, reporting and reducing of our scope 1,2 & 3 emissions. We specialise in reduction strategies that are suited to your business. We will collaborate with your team to design a customised plan that aligns with your goals, industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Moving further along the journey, we at Peak Governance believe that sustainability is not a one-size-fits-all concept. That’s why we offer tailor-made workshops that cater to your specific needs and objectives.
Whether it’s an in-depth guide to compliance with The Environment Act 2021 and what that means to your business or sustainable procurement practices through to waste reduction techniques, there are takeaway gems in there for every type of business. Circularity is hugely important also, and the interactive aspect of our workshops helps foster that feeling of community where ideas can be exchanged, and valuable relationships can be built that help contribute to future initiatives and co-operation.
